Asthma

In the April 2010 issue of Runner's World Magazine there is an article called "Edible Remedies." I know a lot of people who have exercise induced asthma. The article discusses a study done at Indiana University that found that those runners who were given caffeine approximately one hour before exercise were less likely to experience asthmatic symptoms. Scientist also discovered that eating fish rich with Omega-3 (such as salmon, mackerel, sardines and trout) also adds to easy breathing during exercise. Click here for the Indiana University study. I also found another article online discussing foods in relation to asthma...click here for more.
